Oakland Park- Funky Buddha has earned renown for all manner of crazy, off-kilter, wild, and experimental beers. The boys from South Florida have made beers to taste like hot sauce, pineapple, peanut butter & jelly, Rice Krispie Treats, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, but the beer that put Funky on the beer map is their infamous Maple Bacon Coffee Porter. Now, Maple Bacon Coffee Porter is coming back in a big way as the Funky bunch are paying homage to their roots by making Maple Bacon Coffee Porter the first beer that leaves the new Oakland Park brewery in bottles. On January 11th, 2014, Funky Buddha will sell 22oz bottles of Maple Bacon Coffee Porter out of the brewery beginning at 10am. Bottles will cost $15 per bottle and carry a two bottle limit per person in order to spread the love around.
