Funky Buddha Brewery is joining up with NFL punter Brandon Fields to make a beer to support James Edwards, a local boy who almost drowned in his swimming pool in late May.

On Monday, ProBowl football punter Brandon Fields joined the Funky Buddha team in brewing a very special batch of beer for James Edwards, a Coral Springs boy who nearly drowned in a swimming pool in late May. James and his fearless parents have started Turtle Power for James Edwards in an effort to cover hospital expenses. This beer, a Turtle-themed porter, will feature caramel, chocolate, and pecans (just like the candy), and will debut in July. 100% of all proceeds from this beer will benefit Turtle Power for James Edwards.
