Orlando’s Redlight Redlight to celebrate a decade in craft beer

When owner Brent Hernandez opened Redlight Redlight as a craft beer bar in the Winter Park area of Orlando, craft beer was much younger, and Florida craft beer was in its infancy. Now, when the Winter Park craft beer landmark celebrates ten years in the business, the celebration requires more than an afternoon, more than a day, and more than a week. Redlight Redlight’s decade-a-versary will take ten days to properly celebrate–one for each year.

The festivities will not end with celebration at the bar. Since the traditional tenth anniversary gift is tin, Redlight Redlight would like to can a beer for the occasion. Hernandez says that Cigar City Brewing is on board and likely Ten10 Brewing will be, too. With their forces combined, the beers will be a part of the celebration.

Redlight’s house brewery has been working to expand for the occasion as well. Hernandez says, “We’ve been slowly reducing our bottle selection over the last few months and will be removing one of the shelves to install 4 tanks.” These will be for lagering, serving, and brite tanks, and should help with the anniversary merriment.

More information on Redlight Redlight’s anniversary can be found on their facebook page.

Redlight Redlight is located at 2810 Corrine Drive in the Winter Park area of Orlando.
