The DeLand Craft Beer Fest is coming this weekend to cap Volusia Beer Week

Press Release: DeLand Craft Beer Festival was started in 2010 by two local beer enthusiasts, Todd Carpenter and Vinnie Morrissey. With an attendance of around 450 people, the first DeLand Craft Beer Festival included a large component of public education focusing on craft beer brands. Since then the event has expanded to encompass an entire week devoted to craft beer in Volusia County with nearly 4000 people attending beer week events.

DeLand Craft Beer Fest

Volusia Beer Week, formerly DeLand Craft Beer Week started in 2013 and has hosted events from Ormond Beach to Sanford. Events include pint nights, special bottle releases, rare and limited draft releases, art and music events, beer dinners and brunches, beer tastings, meet the brewer events, educational sessions, a homebrew competition and the signature event, DeLand Craft Beer Festival.

This year’s Volusia Beer Week Premier Events include the #DrinkVolusia Bus Tour, Brews and Bowties, History by the Pint, and DeLand Craft Beer Festival. These events started as a way to benefit our community and they continue to support the community that supports us. One hundred percent of the proceeds from these Premier Events go to support the Craft Beverage Community in Volusia County and MainStreet DeLand Association, a 501c3 charity, to support their efforts dedicated to supporting and enhancing the economic development of Historic Downtown DeLand while protecting and promoting DeLand’s historic heritage.
