7venth Sun Brewery, Dunedin’s Broadway brewery, has had quite a week. Brewing beer to keep up with demand, even brewing collaboration beers is nothing new to these sunny folks. This week saw two guest collaborators with plenty of great beers in store.
In the spirit of Floridian collaboration, the Late Start Brewery and the Wild Rover Brewery of Keystone teamed up to create a new double IPA.
Late Start Brewery posted:
Fermentation Lounge (known to locals as “The Ferm”) has bragging rights as Tallahassee’s first craft brewery since the rough waters of the late 1990s. They are not resting on their laurels, though. The folks at The Ferm are using their reputation and brewing system to help local up-and-coming breweries leave the locals with a lingering taste of their liquids.
June 3rd in Saint Petersburg, JDub’s Brewing of Sarasota and Saint Petersburg Brewing got together to collaborate on Saint Petersburg Brewing’s first co-brewed beer.
From JDub’s Brewing:
Tampa’s Cigar City Brewing, Saint Petersburg’s Cycle Brewing, and Dunedin’s 7venth Sun Brewery certainly have the local spirit. These breweries host community events regularly and work hard to bring visitors from other places to visit their homes. Nothing brings the people together in a community spirit like America’s pastime and the home team.
Jacksonville Beach’s Green Room Brewing has sent out their newsletter for March, and the secret spot lists several beers returning and one new beer to watch for.
