In an age of pumpkin beers, many tame gourd-themed ales that sit on beer store shelves and calmly invite beer drinkers to try something new. Tampa Bay Brewing Company makes their own pumpkin beer that has been known to pour out and expose all manner of pumpkin spiciness. The beer, dubbed Gourds Gone Wild, will return to draft lines beginning in late September. This exhibitionist ale is available on draft in the fall months near All Hallow’s Eve.
According to Tampa Bay Brewing Company’s recent newsletter, Gourds Gone Wild will make its return on Friday, September 27th at 4pm.
Also teased in this newsletter: Bourbon Barrel-aged Iron Rat Stout is nestled snugly in its bourbon bed and aging comfortably. No word yet on its release, but the brewery makes a point to remind its newsletter readers of this in every issue.
