Coppertail Brewing, the up-and-coming Tampa brewery and respite to weary IKEA shoppers has posted an update on their progress toward opening.
The full update can be found here, but a few highlights stand out:
*Due to construction delays, the brewery had to push back full delivery of brewing equipment from January 20th to February 10th.
*No brewing equipment means a delay in making beer, so Coppertail is pushing back their official opening until April of 2014.
*The first load of brewing equipment was shipped on December 25th- it was a Christmas miracle!
*Finally, in order to help with analysis of their beer, Coppertail organized a pop-up event. The catch was that the brewery announced it with only 24 hours advance notice. Coppertail owner Kent Bailey says that the brewery staff is already planning their next pop-up tasting, so keep an eye on Coppertail’s social media for the next short-notice event.
