Angry Chair Brewing Company is working hard to build their reputation. The Seminole Heights Brewery has been sweating and toiling to build their reputation around Tampa and the foundation of their brewery. Recently, Angry Chair signed a distribution agreement with Brown Distributing.

Angry Chair is the brainchild of co-owners Ryan Dowdle and Shane Mozur combined with the brewing acumen of veteran brewer Ben Romano. Dowdle is a veteran of the hospitality industry, working to build craft beer bars then taking his talents to Cigar City Brewing. Romano is best known for many smash hits from Cigar City’s pilot system like Abby’s Ale, Tiramisu Sweet Stout, and the One Percenter along with many other flavorful beers.

Angry Chair is planning on offering their beers on draft only, at least initially. Once their beers are introduced to the market, Dowdle and Romano plan on building their portfolio of brands based on customer demand, establishing year-round beers, and possibly expanding distribution outside of Seminole Heights.

Angry Chair anticipates opening during the late summer/ early fall of 2014, and will be located at 6401 North Florida Avenue in the Seminole Heights area of Tampa.
