Ulele now open for lunch

Ulele, the newest member of the Gonzmart Family of Restaurants, is now open for lunch daily at 11 a.m. Our new hours are Sunday –Thursday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Ulele is not open on Thanksgiving or Christmas Day. The restaurant is the latest concept from Richard Gonzmart of the Columbia Restaurant Group, and opened on Aug. 26, 2014.

Ulele is next to the Hillsborough River in Tampa Heights at 1810 N. Highland Blvd., Tampa, FL 33602. Complimentary valet parking is available.

Located in the lovingly re-imagined 1903 Tampa Water Works building, Ulele serves unique foods and spirits by fusing elements from a rich variety of Native American and multicultural influences, including those of European explorers. The menu features items indigenous to this area’s waters and farms.

The on-site Ulele Spring Brewery produces a variety of craft beers exclusively for Ulele patrons.

Ulele anchors the north end of the Tampa Riverwalk, 400 yards from the David. A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts, and sits next to the city’s new Water Works Park.

The Columbia Restaurant was founded in 1905 and is Florida’s oldest restaurant. Locations include the flagship restaurant in Tampa’s Historic Ybor City, additional locations include St. Armands Circle in Sarasota, the Historic District in St. Augustine, Sand Key on Clearwater Beach, Central Florida’s town of Celebration, the Columbia Cafe on the Riverwalk in Tampa and the Columbia Restaurant Cafe at Tampa International Airport.
