In the hands of a talented brewer, whiskey barrels are like quality paint in an artist’s palette. It is always good news to hear when a brewery takes delivery because that means that the aging process will soon begin and an announcement will come down the pike that barrel aged beers will soon be pouring.

Proof Brewing of Tallahassee made such an announcement recently.
