Motorworks Brewing kicks off Halloween weekend with bottle release

Motorworks Brewing Company of Bradenton, like many Tampa area craft breweries, is celebrating Halloween by giving people a reason to come out and show off their costumes and festive spirit.  But there is more than just a Halloween party here, as the brewery is also having a bottle release for two of their beers.

From the Motorworks Newsletter:

Kick off your Halloween weekend with two taproom-exclusive bottle releases:

Chocolate Datil Pepper Imperial Porter | Morita Tequila Imperial Amber Ale

Get in the Halloween / Dia de los Muertos spirit with this dark and dastardly Imperial Porter & wickedly spicy Imperial Amber.
Bottles are 22oz. and will be $15 per bottle. Check our Facebook event over the next week as we reveal the full label artwork piece by piece.

About these beers:

Motorworks Brewing Bottle Art

Datil Pepper Chocolate Imperial Porter:
This unique brew has huge chocolate notes on the nose, with a subtle fruity sweet heat present from fresh Datil Peppers used in the brew. It features a dark brownish black color. Cacao powder gives this brew full bittersweet chocolate flavor, with a mouth coating medium-full body. Intense heat from the Datil Peppers builds with each sip. Fiery and not for the faint of heart. (2016 U.S. Open Beer Championships Gold Medalist)

Morita Tequila Imperial Amber Ale:
Auburn in color, with a full body, aromas of dried chili peppers and fruity dried cherry esters, with a mild malty sweetness. The Morita Pepper imparts a noticeable, yet not overpowering spiciness and smokiness to the brew. The tequila soaked Mesquite wood chips add a subtle sweetness in the finish.
