Tampa Bay Brewing Company celebrates 25 years starting July 1st

During a recent appearance on the BeerWise podcast, Tampa Bay Brewing Company’s Dave Doble talked about his experiences during his family’s 25 years pouring Tampa Bay beer.

“This has been a long and arduous journey filled with pain, hardship, uncertainty and more importantly – joy, happiness, pride, conviction, and a sense of accomplishment,” Doble wrote in a recent Facebook post. “I remember building the shelves in the homebrew shop when I was 15.

I remember leaving the brewery in 1998 to pursue my flying career only to feel the calling to come back upon Johnny’s passing in 2003. I remember slugging away for 5 more years before deciding to write the business plan for the Production Brewery – which was the single best decision I’ve ever made for the slow and steady growth of TBBC has ensured that it will be the industry leader for the Craft Beer culture in the SouthEast which was a goal of the original business plan written in 1995. Thank you for your support of TBBC and for my family. Looking forward to grabbing a beer with you all next week.”

Starting Friday, July 1st, Tampa Bay Brewing Company will be hosting 25th Anniversary festivities at their Ybor City location and then Westchase on July 2nd.

TBBC Ybor City will host:

Join us as we celebrate providing Tampa-inspired beers to thirsty Floridians for 25 years! We will be bringing back some classic TBBC beers, releasing special cans and anniversary glassware, grooving to live music acts, and toasting Tampa’s craft beer history.

Starting at 6pm we will be getting down with crazy-rad activities and events that celebrate our first home in Ybor City.

-Release of Iron Rat Imperial Stout Cans & Commemorative 25th Anniversary Glassware
-Live Music by Sean Patrick Walsh
-Food Specials
-Toast to Tampa’s Beer History at 8PM
-Special tapping of a treated Old Elephant Foot Cask

TBBC Westchase will host:

Starting at 3pm we will be getting down with crazy-rad activities and events throughout the day including:

-The Release of BBA Moosekiller Cans & Commemorative 25th Anniversary glassware
-Live Music by Jeriko Turnpike
-Axe-Throwing by Stumpy’s Hatchet House
-Cornhole Tournaments
-Food Specials
