Orange Park’s Pinglehead Brewing, the brewery located inside Brewer’s Pizza, has announced that the brewery and restaurant are closing this week.

With an extremely heavy heart, we are announcing we will be shutting the doors of Brewers Pizza/Pinglehead Brewing Company.
We will be closed Monday and Tuesday, November 13 and 14, and will be open for beer only Wednesday through Sunday from 3pm-9pm. During these hours, feel free to come in and socialize with the friends you have made over the last almost 14 years and stock up on your favorite Pinglehead offerings in crowlers or your own glass growler if you have one or ten!
We owe a massive thanks to everyone who have allowed us to be a part of their neighborhood and their lives since we opened the doors. A massive thanks also goes to anyone who stepped into the building and contributed their time to the betterment of this company, whether as a favor or in exchange for compensation. We will forever remember all the great times we had here, and will be looking forward to what happens next in our lives.

According to a recent article in the Florida Times-Union, “Taylor Rayburn, general manager, told the Times-Union that the brewpub ‘no longer was financially sustainable.’ Brewer’s Pizza was hard hit by the COVID-19 pandemic and never recovered, he said.”
The ownership of Brewer’s Pizza posted an addendum to their announcement: “For those interested in decor and such, unfortunately there has been a change of plans. A business connection will be handling all of the tangible items belonging to the business, so we will be unable to sell things such as tap handles, art and the like. When we have information on when that can become available for everyone to try to acquire, we will post that information here.
We are still opening tomorrow through Sunday, 3pm-9pm for a strong celebration of life and lots of delicious beer to be poured for on site consumption and to stock up your personal fridges. Thank you all for your understanding and we are so excited for this week.”
