Saint Petersburg- 3 Daughters Brewing had a nice article in the Tampa Tribune’s Friday Extra section. Some nice tidbits about the brewery and its developments:
First, 3 Daughters Brewing’s facility is a $1.5 million retrofit of an 18,000 square-foot building on South 22nd Street in Saint Petersburg.
Next, brewer Ty Weaver, a chef at Bella Brava, has nine finished recipes for Three Duaghters, one of which- a 5% alcohol Beach Blonde Ale- will be the flagship brew for 3 Daughters. Other recipes include “dunkelweizen, a Russian imperial stout, a brown ale, an India pale ale, an Irish red an oatmeal stout, a summer wheat and a porter.”
Owner Mike Harting says that with “the package we have now, we can support 300 taps.”
Next, as a nod to the local homebrewing community, 3 Daughters Brewing plans to have a lab at the brewery where local homebrewers can bring their beer to have it analyzed.
Finally, opening is expected before the end of the yea. Still no official date.
