Miami is on the cusp of opening its first craft brewery in MIA Brewing Company. MIA Brewing owner Eddie Leon was recently asked about the business side of owning a brewery and the advantages of the brewery having a tasting room.
Leon spoke about being in the design phase of MIA Brewing, formerly Most Wanted Brewery. The brewery will definitely have a tasting room and prominently feature other Florida breweries. A blueprint of the brewery and tasting room is included in the article.

“Having a brewery in Miami is an exciting challenge. It’s a big city, but there are no breweries up and running yet. We’ll be one of the first ones,” he said, proudly. “We’d like to have other local brewers on tap as well … We also want to further develop our own beer style in Florida. With the local ingredients — fruits and whatnot — and even culturally. There’s a different taste down here. We want to make beers that will succeed in our local communities.”

The article also features John Najeway of Thirsty Dog Brewing in Akron, Ohio, and Ryan Arnold of Sierra Nevada Brewing in Chino, California.
