Cigar City Brewing Company has expanded their list of canned brews more and more in the past few months, and with plans (or at least can designs) to include Jose Marti Porter and Humidor IPA into the mix, they needed to bring in bigger guns.

Enter the new canning line, one with the potential to make 16oz tallboy cans.

Canning line installation underway! Presently the floors have been dug up in the packaging hall making way for drains and other infrastructure necessary for our new can filler. Along with it comes all of the other conveyors and equipment that goes with the filler to bring you even more fresh beer! This new can filler will also have the potential of canning 16 oz. tall boy cans.. While there are no plans for this package yet, we are sure we will try it out sometime in the future! More than anything, this will make packaging our increasingly growing line up of canned brews even easier, especially with more of our brands making the switch! We hope to have some photos for you next month..
