Gulfport, FL- The same dynamic duo that brought the Tampa Bay Area a hyper hoppy IPA called Dynamic Duo-able and a chocolate and molasses Dulce De Leche Stout are going back to the collaborative drawing board this weekend.
J. Wakefield Brewing Company posted Tuesday morning that Johnathan Wakefield will be arriving in Tampa on Friday to brew up another collaboration with Doug Dozark of Cycle Brewing of Saint Petersburg.
Wakefield has also collaborated with Tampa’s Cigar City Brewing, including several Berliner Weisses on Cigar City’s pilot system that have been rated as some of the top in the world according to Ratebeer.com. Most recently, Wakefield has collaborated with Cigar City to craft the Cervesas Frescas Series. The first installment was a beer brewed with tropical guanabana fruit and the second, most recently put on draft, Horchata Ale, is a beer brewed to taste like a Horchata.
Wakefield has also recently dropped the news that he plans to have his South Florida Brewery operational and open by December of 2013.
