Cask & Larder prepares for Growler Independence Day

Press release:

Cask & Larder couldn’t be more excited that starting July 1, after years of legislative battle, Floridians will be allowed to fill 64-ounce growlers of to-go beer directly at breweries and retailers for the first time in state history.

To celebrate this milestone, spearheaded by craft breweries and beer lovers across the Sunshine State, Cask & Larder will release one of its most popular beers ever produced, the Citra Hopped IPA, for 64-ounce growler fills on Wednesday, July 1 and Friday, July 3 from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. for $15 per 64-ounce growler. The C&L Lone Palm Golden Ale will also be available for $12 per 64-ounce growler. There is a two-growler fill limit per person and each person must provide their own growler. Cask & Larder branded growlers will be available for purchase in the near future.

To ensure the highest possible quality beer, Cask & Larder will sanitize each guests’ growler for them onsite. This process takes approximately 10 minutes. Cask & Larder recommends keeping all growlers cold from the time they are filled and drinking them within 24-48 hours after filling them.
