Can’d Aid is a 501c3 started by Dale Katechis, founder of Oskar Blues Brewery, in 2013 following the Colorado flooding that devastated Lyons, CO, the hometown of Oskar Blues Brewery. What started as a response to the 2013 floods in ColoRADo has now raised more than $2,700,000 to support four program areas: Towns, Tunes, Treads + Trails and Love Yur Mama. 871,400 cans of water have been shipped to communities in need of safe drinking water such as Flint, MI, South Carolina and Louisiana since 2016. The foundation is a publicly funded non-profit and has evolved into an irreverent nonprofit focused on nation-wide “do-goodery.”

About Cigar City Brewing
Cigar City Brewing, makers of Jai Alai and Hunahpu’s Imperial Stout, was founded in 2009 by Joey Redner with the goal of creating quality beer that reflected the flavors and history of the Tampa region.  This unique perspective resonated with the local and national markets alike and the brewery has quickly grown from 1,000 barrels of beer in 2009 to an excess of 65,000 barrels produced in 2016. The 2016 partnership with Oskar Blues of Lyons, Colorado ushered in a new era of growth for this Florida-based organization, with new markets and technologies on the horizon.
