Boca Raton’s Belgian-inspired Barrel of Monks Brewing is releasing one of their most anticipated beers of the year this weekend – Den of Sins Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout.

While we certainly enjoy making our very crushable beers like Wizard and Single in Havana, we really get off on the crafty hand-made high gravity beers like our Parade of Souls Imperial Stout. And in that spirit, we bring to you Den of Sins!

Den of Sins is Parade of Souls that spent almost a year in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels. It is a big, mouthful of a beer. It pours black as night, with a tan head and aroma of caramel and roasted chestnut. The rich flavors of dark chocolate and toffee laced with molasses finish with the oaky goodness of bourbon, but not too boozy.

It is a beer to sip and enjoy with friends in the last of these cool nights before spring is upon us. It is also sure to age well and get even more character with time.
