Tampa’s Angry Chair Brewing Company made a name for themselves with eager beer enthusiasts seeking their bottles and lining up at all hours of the night for releases.

While Angry Chair has worked hard to appease their local and faraway fans with a combination of surprise beer releases and timed releases via the OZNR App, an Angry Chair release is certain to sell out shortly after bottles go on sale – at least as long as Angry Chair’s production staff are working with the small facility on Florida and Fern in Seminole Heights.

Angry Chair announced that the brewery will move its operations down Florida Avenue to the former home of Florida Avenue Ales and Brew Bus Brewing.

“We have signed a lease at the old Brew Bus facility about a mile and a quarter south of us. They have transitioned to Wesley Chapel. We had an opportunity to take over their old facility, so we’re going from 2,986 square feet – obviously,  we have our barrel house and some storage down the alleyway, too – but now we’ll have 14,300 square feet. We’re excited. It’s a challenge. I’m definitely getting more and more grey daily, but the demand for our beer has been something we’ve never ever seen, and we’re going to be able to produce more beer and we’ll have the space and capacity to make better beer.  I think we’ve done a great job of that but there’s a lot of things we cannot do because of our size constraints and this is giving us an opportunity to take that lid off and make primarily a lot more lager and obviously more IPAs and again, our stout production will not go up very much. We’re going to do more barrel-aging – at the moment we have 143 spirit barrels. At the new spot, we’ll probably get to hover around 200-220ish.” And also, Angry Chair’s parking capacity will increase three to fourfold.

Congratulations to Angry Chair Brewing on this latest accomplishment and this new expanded home for their team and their fans.

About Angry Chair Brewing
You’re probably here for the stouts, that’s what we are most known for. There’s no line we won’t cross in that area, and we appreciate the love we receive for our interpretations of that style. With beer, you’re always learning, experimenting, and tweaking something. We consider our beers forward-thinking, and we don’t always brew to style. Somehow we won a gold medal for our pilsner though, so we can follow the rules if we want to.

We have a 1,900 sq. ft. brewery filled with as much stainless as we could possibly squeeze in there. We also have a 2,000 sq. ft. barrel house across the street.

We brew beer, we age beer, we bottle beer, we’re gonna can beer, and we definitely drink beer.
