From Swamp Head’s Event website:
On October 2nd, 2013 at The Wetlands we will be releasing an uber rare Barrel Aged Wee Heavy along with our first ever Gainesville Green bottle release!
Peat Dunwoody’s Wee Heavy Scotch Ale is a beer that has been in the works for well over a year. One of our rarest releases yet, this 10.6% ABV monster was aged in 20 year Pappy Van Winkle barrels. Somewhere between 100 and 200 750ml bottles of Peat’s will be released with a one bottle per person limit. Actual bottle count will be announced closer to release date. Bottle price will also be announced a little closer to the release date.
Gainesville Green, our Fresh Hop Ale, will be released simultaneously with a price tag of $12/bottle and a limit of one case per person. Gainesville Green shirts will also be available for purchase for the price of $20.
Bottle Release Details:
Starting at 2:30pm we will begin giving out wristbands to those waiting in line. Wristbands will signify the ability to purchase one bottle of Peat Dunwoody’s Wee Heavy Scotch Ale. We will give out as many wristbands as we have bottles of Peat’s… no more, no less.
Actual bottle sales will start at 3:30pm. You will be able to purchase one bottle of Peat’s per wristband and one case of Gainesville Green per person. If you do not get a wristband or do not want a bottle of Peat’s, you may still purchase up to a case of Gainesville Green.
We will open the doors to The Wetlands at 3:30pm for the enjoyment of our ten taps of delicious Swamp Head beer, including Gainesville Green on draft.
