Ybor City’s Zydeco Brew Werks took the Tampa Bay craft beer community by surprise on January 11th when they posted their closing announcement. January 19th, 20th, and 21st will be Zydeco’s last weekend in business at their Ybor City Location.
Zydeco will live on, as the brewery has opened a second location at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) in Tampa in August 2023. The brewery has also said they are “looking to the next chapter.”
As for the final weekend, the brew pub posted:
It’s our last weekend in Ybor City. Make sure you swing by for our final party in this epic space. Heads up, we are closing Thursday at 5pm for a private event.
We kick off the weekend Friday with both floors opening to the public starting at 5pm (same hours all weekend).
Saturday will feature Brunch from 10:30-3pm followed by a Low Country Boil beginning at 6pm (all you can eat for $25 per person). The @Edjohn__ Band begins at 6pm followed by DJ Dark Fader spinning live until midnight.
“Kill the Tanks” Sunday will open with Brunch starting at 10:30 and serving until 3pm or we run out! Special menu items may be available with a game time decision and doors close when the last drink is poured!
