For the last four years, Bastet Brewing has been one of Tampa’s hidden gems on the outskirts of Ybor City. However, as of July 30th, the brewery’s owners have announced it will be closing its doors.
Bastet Brewing has made a name for itself by pouring at beer events and festivals around the Tampa Bay area while they were a brewery in planning. Once open, Bastet cemented themselves as a maker of traditional and innovative beers and beer styles all pouring out of their small space.

Bastet Brewing has made the extremely difficult decision to close its doors. The short explanation is that adverse socio-economic conditions that began in 2020, the year we opened, have led us to make a pragmatic decision that is the best for moving forward. For nearly 4 years we’ve fought against the persistent unfavorable challenges within the beer industry to keep the doors open, but with limited options available to us, the financial burden has proven to be too great.

We want to sincerely thank everyone, near and far, who supported us. We also want to thank the amazing group of regulars who showed up in the taproom week in and week out. We’re really going to miss you guys. We shared good times and good beer and forged great relationships that we will cherish forever.
We’ll close doors permanently on August 6th.

We will be OPEN for normal hours on August 1st – 4th and we will be OPEN for a final few days on August 5th and 6th, from 2PM to 9PM. For the remainder of our time open, we’re pouring $6 full pours for everything on tap! We sincerely hope you’ll swing by the taproom to buy some beer and wish Huston and Tom a fond farewell. Thank you everyone!

Bastet Brewing is located at 1951 E. Adamo Drive in Tampa, in a plaza near IKEA and Coppertail Brewing.
