Hunahpu Day, one of the most popular bottle releases in the Southeastern United States, is undergoing a facelift this year after last year’s inconceivable attendance. All things considered, the changes that the brewery has chosen to make show them adapting to their popularity and the increasing demand for their beers.

As previously announced, Hunahpu Day will take place March 8th, 2013.

Full list here. Some changes:

* Hunahpu Day will again be hosted at the brewery, 3924 West Spruce Street in Tampa.
*Hunahpu Day will be handled like a beer festival, and attendance will be capped at 3500 people– a drastic change considering that last year’s estimate had over 10,000 people in attendance.
*The festival will be a ticketed event with a ticket costing $50.
*The tasting room will operate separately from the festival on Hunahpu Day, and will still be pouring beer, although no samples or tours.
*Hunahpu Day will operate from 11am until 5pm only. Lining up at midnight the night before will no longer be necessary (although whether or not people will still do this is uncertain.)

Further details, draft lists, and bottle limits will be announced further down the road.
