Saint Petersburg- Cycle Brewing has teased for months that the new small brewery in Saint Petersburg was under construction. Then a surprise post from the brewery announced that they had opened their doors for business on August 15th. Then, a few days later Cycle announced that their highly sought-after and rarely seen Hazelnut Rare D.O.S (stout aged in bourbon barres with hazelnuts) was on tap. Finally, August 25th Cycle announced that RareR D.O.S. (their stout aged in rum barrels) was on tap.
From a surprise opening to tap list surprises galore, Cycle Brewing has shown that they are full of surprises for the craft beer crowd. Great news for the locals, showing that on any day of the week some of Cycle’s ephemeral and highly regarded beer might show up on tap.
