Cycle Brewing hosts one of the most anticipated events of Tampa Bay Beer Week, Barrel-Aged Day, where every beer that flows has had a siesta in a spirit barrel.  The Saint Petersburg brewery has recently posted details about tickets and the event itself.

From Cycle Brewing:

LATEST UPDATE (6 January): Tickets for Barrel Aged Day will go on sale Saturday, Jan. 14th at 8 AM – we need to keep it early since this line moves a little slow with recording all the names and we want to be cleared up by the time our neighbors open.

INITIAL POST: We have been getting a fair amount of questions about Barrel Aged Day 2017 – here are a few things we know.

The event will be on Friday, March 10 at the St Pete Shuffleboard Club (same place as last year) and will run from 12-4.
Tickets will go on sale in January, we are not sure what day we want to do that yet but we will announce it at least a week in advance. You will be able to purchase multiple
tickets, 4 seemed about right last year but we will make that announcement when we decide on the date – as usual cash only and sales will be at the tasting room. Ticket price will be $75 and you must have the full name of every person you buy a ticket for.

We will be selling VIP tickets this year for $100, these will mean you can get in an hour before the general admission, 11 AM instead of Noon and have first, and less crowded, crack at the tap list. We are not adding more people to the festival, the event will be the same size as last year.
There will be a bottle included in the ticket, we don’t have solid information to share on what that will be or if there will be an extra available for purchase but as of right now our plans are for there to be a M-F set sold at the tasting room at 8 AM each day of the week including Friday and the bottle included in the ticket will be a festival attendee release only – almost certainly something out of our latest batch of Prichard’s rum barrels.

We will run operations much like last year with wrist band pickup starting at 9 AM, you will need ID and your name will be on a list so checking in early is encouraged to make entry easier.

We have a few improvements planned for the festival layout, including a tent or two.
Lastly – There is a ferry running this year! Almost directly from the Marriott in downtown Tampa to downtown St Petersburg, walking distance to the fest. We will not have DD tickets, we strongly encourage walking, ferrying, taking an Uber or taxi or some combination. There is also extremely limited parking around the festival but plenty within a few blocks that is free overnight for anybody who feels they need to drive to the fest but wisely chooses not to drive home afterwards.
