About Cypress & Grove Brewing Company
Located in the old Gainesville Ice House, we’re a 15 barrel neighborhood production brewery that uses water from the original 386 ft deep artesian Ice House well located in our building. This well provided water for the production of ice that chilled produce grown in Florida on its journey north, kept food and beverages fresh and cool in the homes of Gainesville and filled ice chests headed to beaches and picnics for over 7 decades. This same well now provides the water we use to create exceptional craft beer that continues to refresh and fortify all that come through our doors.

Founded on the dream of good beer enjoyed in an inspiring and interesting environment where you can meet friends and family and get to know your fellow Gainesvillians. Our name, Cypress and Grove, is a nod to the historic Grove Street Neighborhood that we are proud to call home and play a part in its renewal and reinvention as a destination to gather, celebrate, and create. Cypress Avenue and Grove Street, now known as 10th Ave and 4th Street NW form the intersection where you’ll find us. Stop on by for a pint!
