Tallahassee’s Deep Brewing Company is set to celebrate 10 years starting Friday, September 4th and extending to the entire Labor Day Weekend holiday.
Deep’s anniversary weekend is set to include can and bottle releases, commemorative merchandise, and food specials.

Our 10-Year Milestone in Tallahassee – and 1-year anniversary in our new location – all culminate this Friday when we kick off CANNIVERSARY with the first of our three cans and one bottle release over the next four days.
A BRAND-NEW beer from the Deep catalog – AMPLITUDE Tangerine Wheat (6% ABV).
First things first: What, exactly, does “amplitude” mean, you ask?
Amplitude is the maximum displacement of a vibrating or oscillating object from its mean (or equilibrium) position. Example: For a wave, greater amplitude generally means the wave carries more energy.
Which is perfect because “Making Waves’ is the theme for our 10-Year Anniversary Weekend!
This bright, refreshing tangerine wheat makes waves by delivering a juicy burst of Fresh From Florida tangerine flavor over a soft, smooth wheat base, finishing crisp and clean. Fresh, vibrant, and ridiculously drinkable!
Another BRAND-NEW beer from the Deep catalog – HEAD FIRST Triple IPA (10.2% ABV)!
When we first came up with the name for this beer, we actually had a double check to make sure we had never used it before considering all the sea-, ocean- and diving-themed names we’ve used over the years!
But sure enough, HEAD FIRST is an original for us and we think it’s gonna be “Making Waves” – the theme for our 10-Year Anniversary Weekend! – on Saturday when we drop it!
It’s actually been four years since we brewed a triple – some of you may remember that DEEP THOUGHTS was our last one in 2022 – and we are pretty dang happy with how it came out. We hit it with copious amounts of arguably our favorite hop – Mosaic – then tossed in a little Nectaron, too, for good measure. And the result is a SUPER-dank, wildly hoppy – yet still very crushable – Triple IPA. Even at 10.2%!
And now we look ahead to Sunday’s BOTTLE release …
WHALE ACTUALLY Imperial Stout w/ Coffee, Coconut and Roasted Hazelnut (12.4% ABV).
And yes, this is another BRAND-NEW beer from the Deep catalog!
After all, 10 years into this “craft brewing thing,” we figured it was time to release a whale.
WHALE ACTUALLY is a big boy beer brewed to celebrate a decade of Deep Brewing – dark, decadent and unapologetically over the top.
An ocean of rich roasted malt sets the stage for making waves with toasted coconut, bold Outboard Coffee Company and roasted hazelnuts, creating layers of dark chocolate, fresh espresso, nutty praline and creamy coconut. Full-bodied and warming with a silky finish, it’s the kind of stout meant to be sipped slowly, savored deliberately and shared in celebration.
