Jacksonville- M Hospitality Group, the chef-owned company behind Jacksonville’s M Shack, Medure, Matthew’s, and M Catering restaurants has teamed up with Jacksonville’s beachside Engine 15 Brewing Company to release a beer called “Top Crop Ale.”

Top Crop Ale is meant to display the “Farm to Table” Concept- illustrating where the beer and its ingredients came from and how local flavors can be displayed in a beer.

From Food and Beverage 101:

Inspired by Florida’s designation as the number one producer of USA grown butternut squash, Top Crop Ale is a refreshing combination of the sweet, rich flavors of the squash and a secret blend of spices. Top Crop Ale offers a light, appealing flavor anchored by spices that evoke the autumn season and will appeal to a wide range of palettes from beer aficionados to casual imbibers.

Top Crop Ale will have its first pour on Thanksgiving Day, and will join the specialty beer selection at Restaurant Medure and Matthew’s Restaurant.
