Engine 15 Brewing celebrates three years

Jacksonville- Engine 15 Brewing Company announced today on Facebook that they will be celebrating their 3rd Anniversary on Saturday July 6th, 2013. Adding to the good news was word of a bottle release. What beer could garner a gathering at the Jacksonville Beach watering hole? None other than Barrel Aged Imperial Chupacabra (Barrel-aged imperial stout) and Imperial Simcoe. This release will cap off three years of business for the little bar with big beers.

About Engine 15:

Engine 15, so named for head brewer Luciano Scremin’s 1962 Ford Fire Engine parked out front opened for business in 2010. The bar and brewery stands in Jacksonville Beach amid a blossoming craft brewing environment, watered by the thirst of Jacksonville. The brewery strives to provide “camaraderie, old-school know how, determination, and a simple but serious dedication to the cause.” The brewery developed into a bar and brewing operation- one where curious folk could come to brew their own beer on Engine 15’s brewing system and novice and professional alike could seek their suds. Engine 15 continued to grown and after developing core recipes of their own, Engine 15 has devoted one tap each week to serving a beer they have never brewed before. This beer, called Tap 42, could be almost any beer and serves to both fill the pint of the curious and pique the interest of the brewer.
