Funk Buddha Brewery has the art of the bottle release down to a science, and there’s no stopping South Florida’s stalwart crew.
From Funk Buddha’s newsletter, the next bottle release will be Blueberry Cobbler.
Blueberry Cobbler will be released in 22oz bottles at the brewery on August 18. This beer is a copiously blueberried glass of goodness, generously dosed with real vanilla beans, quality imported cinnamon, and — of course — whole fruit. A sip is akin to a bite of fresh baked blueberry pie.
We’re also very proud of the artwork for this beer. Local artist Danielle Estefan, who worked on our Nib Smuggler artwork, did the illustration. Bake life!
Bottle sales will take place in the Bocce Area from 6 to 9pm. Please have your ID and payment ready to help the line move quickly. The cost will be $12 per bottle, and cash or credit will be accepted. After 9pm, any additional bottles remaining will be opened back up for sale. Bottles will be limited to five per person.
To honor Blueberry Cobbler’s release, we will also be tapping some special beers in the tap room (including Blueberry Cobbler). More info on those beers will come soon.
In other Funky Buddha news, the brewery has tested a 100-bottle-per-minute bottling line in Italy. No exact word on when it will be installed, but bottled Buddha beer will be here before long.
Funky Buddha Brewery is located at 1201 Northeast 38th Street in Oakland Park.
