Veterans United POW/MIA IPA

Jacksonville’s Veterans United Craft Brewery is releasing POW/MIA IPA – a hazy IPA with “copious amounts of hops.” The 2023 release of this beer has a mission: to raise awareness for The National POW/MIA Memorial and Museum in their hometown.

The beer itself was first brewed in honor of National POW/MIA Recognition Day, September 16th.

From Veterans United Craft Brewery:

POW/MIA IPA

Veterans United POW/MIA IPAPOW/MIA IPA is a hazy juicy New England-style IPA brewed and fermented with copious amounts of hops!

Mandarina Bavaria, Idaho 7, El Dorado, and Galaxy hops are used in the double dry hop to give this beer immense aroma and flavor of citrus and tropical fruits.

Veterans United has teamed up with the POW/MIA Museum to raise awareness of this memorable initiative to make this a reality.

The National POW/MIA Memorial & Museum is located in Jacksonville, Florida at the former Naval Air Station Cecil Field.

YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN

Since opening in 2014, Veterans United Craft Brewery has been dedicated to supporting causes that promote America’s veterans both through advocacy and beer. The brewery makes WatchStander IPA to support FireWatch, a charity fighting veteran suicide and D-Day IPA – a cross-continent collaboration with a brewery in France to commemorate Operation Overlord, the military operation which stormed the beaches at Normandy on June 6th, 1944. Veterans United also uses beer to support local animal charities and pet adoption.
