Orlando Brewing’s Uncle Matt’s Organic Grapefruit Pale Ale returns

Press Release: Orlando’s local microbrewery to release Uncle Matt’s Organic Grapefruit Pale Ale. This 100% Citra hopped beer was brewed with fresh zest from Uncle Matt’s Organic grapefruit. The combination of hops and peel impart a citrus zing and light tropical fruit notes.

The two Central Florida organics providers first collaborated to create the pale ale in 2013. It was the second beer in Orlando Brewing’s Violator Series. This series was the first deviation from the brewery’s tradition of adhering to the Reinheitsgebot, or the German Purity Law of 1516. This paved the way for the company’s popular Senator Series and line of Babes’ Brews. Beers in these series include current limited releases: Papa Midnight and Chocolate Mint Girl Stout.

Uncle Matt’s Organic Grapefruit Pale Ale will be tapped at 1pm on February 13th. From 3-6pm Orlando Brewing will host a local food micromarket, followed by a free tour at 6pm, and live music at 9pm.
