West Palm Beach’s Steam Horse Brewing is next in the line of impending Florida craft brewery closings. The brewery took to social media on Monday, September 16th at 10am to announce that this week would be its last week open.
Ever since announcing his impending move out of Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood, J. Wakefield Brewing has alluded to an impending “last hurrah” party to send the taproom off in style. The brewery has set a date and posted some details online, with more promised to follow.

Southwest Florida’s RipTide Brewing Company announced on September 2nd that it would be parting ways with its Naples Taproom and operating solely from its Bonita Springs location. While many times decisions like this are difficult, they are better than the alternative of closing operations altogether.
