Treasure Island: R-Bar Brewing Company is embracing the craft beer revolution as quickly as it can. The bar is in the process of expanding the number of house-brewed beers from its current 3 taps to 7 taps in the near future.

This expansion is fueled by demand for R-Bar’s beers. R-Bar began with brewer Eric Richardson brewing beer for the bar one day a week. That was then. Now Eric is brewing up to 3 days each week in order to keep up with high-demand beers like his IPA and Porter. Eric brews, in his words, “drinkable, American-style beers.” To date he has brewed an IPA, a porter, a pumpkin ale, a pale ale, a stout, and a brown ale for R Bar which has sold through them quickly.

The Treasure Island brewery can only brew 10 gallons at a time, so Eric warns that a few taps may be empty while his wares are fermenting, but with time the bar plans to fill all 7 new taps with R-Bar beers. While R-Bar continues to expand, Eric says he is happy to keep making the beer, which is only available from the source.

According to R-Bar’s Facebook page, the bar currently has a 5.5% Brown Ale, Pumpkin Ale, Porter, Pale Ale, Coconut IPA, and Double IPA on tap.
