Press Release: 3 Daughters Brewing unveils its annual North Pole Christmas Village, a celebrated winter wonderland.
One of Florida’s most unique breweries, Pompano Beach’s Odd Breed Wild Ales focuses on wild ales aged in wood. The award-winning brewery continues to release 750mL bottles of beer for their fellow wild ale enthusiasts and now they have announced the release of their holiday wild ale called Coniferous Christmas.
From Odd Breed Wild Ales owner Matt Manthe:
My favorite part about the winter holidays is enjoying the company of family and friends, preferably while eating good food, drinking a tasty beverage, and watching football. Our sense of smell is strongly tied to memory, and my favorite holiday aroma is that of a freshly cut Christmas tree.
Coniferous Christmas is blended from equal parts of our Lambic-inspired wild ales aged two and three years in French oak barrels. After blending, I dry hopped with whole cone Chinook before infusing with fresh Colorado Spruce tips along with fresh Juniper needles and berries.
This beer presents unmistakable coniferous notes redolent of a freshly cut Christmas tree. Pine, resin, and spruce meld with ruby red grapefruit supported by a backbone of cedar, aged hops, and our signature Brett funk with refreshing acidity.
Enjoy this beer with food, fun, friends and family.
750ml bottles are priced at $30, and will be available for pick up when we open at 4pm, Friday November 24. Bottles are also available on the OZNR app and information is available on Odd Breed’s website about this unique holiday beer.
