Aardwolf Brewery reaches milestone
Jacksonville- Jacksonville’s newest craft brewery, Aardwolf Brewing, has reached a new milestone. On August 5th, the Jacksonville brew crew made their first commercial batch on their fifteen-barrel system, a stout called Styrofoam Pony Stout. Before that time, all Aardwolf beers were being made on a ten-gallon pilot system.
Next, on August 20th, Aardwolf posted a picture of brewer Michael Payne dry-hopping Aardwolf’s Brown IPA, Eastbound and Brown, on that same fifteen-barrel system. When asked on Facebook, the brewery saidthat they expect a mid September release date for these beers. This date will then mark the brewing anniversary of the Aardwolf for years to come.
