Angry Chair Brewing announces next bottle release

Angry Chair Brewing has made dessert beers their calling card. The Seminole Heights craft brewery has so far released beers based on sweet treats like cupcakes and french toast (not to mention some great sour beers), and their next release falls right in line.

From Angry Chair Brewing:

This Saturday will be our first release of Imperial German Chocolate Cupcake Stout. This is Cupcake’s bigger, stronger brother and it sits at 10.6%. Bottles will go on sale at 12pm out of the brew house. Cash is preferred but cards can be taken if necessary, each bottle is $20. Bottle count per person is TO BE DETERMINED. We will update you on the count as soon as possible.

Angry Chair Brewing is located at 6401 North Florida Avenue in the Seminole Heights area of Tampa. The release of Imperial German Chocolate Cupcake Stout will take place on Saturday. July 23rd. The trouble starts at 12pm.

About Angry Chair Brewing:
Everybody has an angry chair, be it work, a traffic jam, or where else. Angry Chair Brewing is about the realization that you have one and the celebration that you can get away from it. We come from a corporate background where we associated these places as our “angry chair” so we wanted to establish a brewery and tasting room to break away from the monotony, the rat race, the white collar world, or wherever your angry chair is.
The ultimate plan at Angry Chair Brewing is to brew beers that we like to drink. Right now we like to drink more sessionable styles: hoppy pale ales, Berliner weisses, low ABV saison, and other easy-drinkers. We plan to lean on these styles for our core beers. However, one thing we absolutely believe to be true is that the public will be choosing our “core” beers for us: if you like the beer, we will keep brewing it.

Funky Buddha Brewery

Funky Buddha and Dogfish Head’s collab dubbed Nano-Nano

A few weeks ago, the bunch from Funky Buddha flew up to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware to collaborate with Sam Calagione and the crew from Dogfish Head Brewing and Eats on a brewpub exclusive beer.

In a video released by Dogfish Head, new information emerged about the beer:

“It is a beer that’s brewed with salt from both of our beach areas. It’s got cocoa nibs and cocoa powder… and then it’s got, oh yeah, habanero peppers. Really really hot, spicy habanero peppers. It should be roasty, dry, spicy, complex…called Nano-Nano.”
