Bold City has some liquid Christmas presents

Jacksonville- Bold City Brewing Company has been saving some of their beers to share with their thirsty fans on Christmas Eve.

According to the brewery newsletter:

we have a bit of a present in store for you guys on Tuesday 12/24 (Christmas Eve). You guys already know that we will be open from 12pm-6pm but what you don’t know is that we have saved some brews from the past year to be tapped as well. We’ll be tapping the Super Secret Stout, Big John’s Apricot Wheat and the Smokey Porter. We’ll be doing growler fills of all three ONLY ON TUESDAY 12/24. We’ll also be tapping two holiday inspired CASK ales @ noon.

Proof Brewing to celebrate Proofmas and help kids at the same time

Tallahassee’s largest craft brewery has let loose some details of their upcoming Christmas party: they will exchange raffle tickets for Toys for Tots toys.

In addition to one of our infamous glassware giveaways (a Limited Edition Holiday Proof Snifter might we add) we’ll also be doing a toy drive to benefit Toys for Tots!

The way it works is simple, come in that night for the glassware giveaway as you normally would but if you bring in a NEW UNWRAPPED TOY we’ll give you a raffle ticket to win bar tabs, growlers, and Proof schwag!

SO TO SUM IT UP.. YOU GIVE TO KIDS AND WE GIVE TO YOU! LETS MAKE SURE THESE KIDS GET A HOLIDAY TO REMEMBER!

Rapp Brewing to release Gingerbread Ale

This Friday at 5pm, Rapp Brewing in Seminole will kick off the Christmas season by releasing their Gingerbread Ale in growlers and on draft.

From the brewery:

Just the right blend of spices in a 6.5% ABV English Brown Ale…slightly warming, a touch of malt sweetness – and gingerbread through and through!

Engine 15 announces the 12 Beers of Christmas

Jacksonville- Every year Jacksonville’s Engine 15 Brewing pours twelve new beers at Christmas time, and unlike other breweries around the country, they all pour in the month of December– no waiting years for the series to complete. Twelve different beers in twelve days at Engine 15:

This year our 12 Beers of Christmas will start Sunday, Dec 1 and go through Thursday, Dec 12. If you drink all 12 – punch card is being finalized – you will get a FREE beer (E15 pint) every day for the rest of the month.
