Due South to celebrate Black Friday in style

Press Release:

Due South Brewing Co. will host its Third Annual Black Friday Celebration on November 28, 2014.

In addition to the many beers already on tap, the brewery will feature limited release dark beers tapped throughout the day. Big savings will be offered at certain times throughout the day, like brewery t-shirts for $10 and buy a pint and keep the glass.

Bombshell BBQ food truck will be onsite starting at noon and Poor Boys Kitchen food truck will be available for the evening. Patrons are always welcome to bring their own food or order delivery to the brewery.

There is no admission fee to attend. Food & drinks must be purchased. Everyone is welcome noon to 6pm. After 6pm, you must be 21 or older to be in the brewery. No pets allowed.

Due South Brewing now offering crowlers

Due South Brewing has an answer to the classic beer enthusiast problems of no glass allowed on the beach combined with the desire to drink the freshest beers while outdoors. The answer? The Crowler.

The Crowler is a 32oz can-growler that is filled and seamed onsite and keeps the beer fresh the same way that a beer can does. The cost? Just add $1 to the cost of a growler fill.

Due South put their Crowler machine in service on June 5th and is the second Florida brewery to utilize such a machine for growler fills.

Due South Brewing’s next bottle release

Press Release:

Due South Brewing Co. announces a bottle release for Bourbon Barrel Aged Mariana Trench on Saturday, May 24. The Boynton Beach, FL brewery has aged its gold medal winning imperial stout in bourbon barrels for 5 months and will be selling a limited number of bottles at the event. This beer will also be on tap.

“The deepest spot in the Earth’s oceans is called the Mariana Trench. We thought the darkest depths of the planet would make the perfect name for this big, dark stout. Our Mariana Trench won the gold medal for “Best Imperial Stout” in the 2014 Best Florida Beer Championship but we didn’t stop there,” Mike Halker explains. “By aging it in Four Roses Bourbon barrels, we’ve created a big, complex beer with a delicious balance of chocolate and bourbon.”

Tacos Veracruz food truck will be at the brewery noon to 5 and Spring In Roll Out and Dough Dough’s Donuts trucks will be there 5 to 10. The brewery opens at noon and 22oz. bottles will be for sale immediately for $20 each with a limit of 2 per person. Due South Brewing and Tomoka Brewery collaborate

Boynton Beach- The Florida collaborative spirit has struck again. This week Jennifer Hawkins and Peter Szunyogh from Tomoka brewery closed the brewpub for four days in order to travel, well due south, to brew their collaboration beer with Due South (not four days worth of brewing, but likely the Thanksgiving holiday as well).

Then Monday Due South Brewing posted a picture of the brew day with a small tidbit about the beer:

Collaboration brew happening today with Tomoka Brewery. Keep an eye out for this gingersnap beer to be released just in time for the holidays.
