Florida Beer Company to be acquired by Caribe Brewery UPDATE
Update: 2:15pm 22 July: Florida Beer Company President and CEO James Webb has reached out to Florida Beer News promising “a proper release soon.” No other information was offered. It is worth noting however, that Webb’s email signature read “Florida Beer Comapny ANSA MCAL Group.” ANSA MCAL Group is the parent company of Carib Brewery.

Florida Beer Company, one of the oldest craft beer brands in the state of Florida, has seen its fair share of rumors. Recently, rumors have surfaced on an online forum from sources close to the brewery that the brewery has been acquired by Caribe Brewery. Normally Florida Beer News does not report rumors, but many sources have stepped forward and this one seems almost definite. Caribe Brewery has three locations and is the manufacturer of Caribe Lager, Caribe Light, and many other brands.
