Point Ybel Brewing to tap Cinco de Mayo beers

Point Ybel Brewing is going to have some unique beer for Cinco de Mayo, some that doesn’t usually grace the tap list.

11:Eleven Café has a special creation for this event!
“Cinco de Drinko” grilled cheese: Roasted chili corn, black beans, lime zest, jalapeños, pepper jack, choice of chicken or ground beef with homemade TEQUILA cheese sauce.

Fort Myers Brewing Company is turning 2

Fort Myers Brewing Company is celebrating two years in the City of Palms and they plan to celebrate in a big way.

We are turning 2! Plan to Celebrate with us on Feb. 28th from noon – 11pm. The Nosh Truck, Gold Coast Kitchen and MOFOS will all be here. The TrOUbLeMaKerZ will be playing music so we can have a dance party in the parking lot. 30+ different flavors will be poured throughout the day, we’ll giveaway some cool stuff. Old Soul Brewing announces grand opening

Old Soul Brewing, a brewery in planning in the Fort Myers area, has announced their grand opening date.

The brewery is a labor of love for two sons and their father. Nicholas, Mike, and Jacob Schmidt have been working to build a Southwest Florida craft brewery to join the ranks of the few and proud in the City of Palms. For the big day, Old Soul will have their Imperial Chocolate Stout, Gosa, Chia Brown, and Lemon Shandy (among others). The guys are working towards 10 taps in their tap room plus rotating taps and guest taps for opening day. For music, they have booked the Good Bad Kids to play from 6-10pm. The Old Soul Crew’s advice? Bring a chair, as they are expecting a large turnout.

Old Soul Brewing is located at 10970 South Cleveland Avenue in Fort Myers. The trouble starts at noon on October 11th.

Fort Myers Brewing brings Oktoberfest to Southwest Florida

This Saturday, Fort Myers Brewing Company will bring a little Bavarian spirit to Southwest Florida as they don the white and blue checkered spirit of Oktoberfest.

This Saturday: Plan to join us for Oktoberfest – our biggest event yet. Twenty-nine (29!!) beers rotated throughout the day! MOFOS and The Nosh Truck serving up good food! Live music from the TrOUbLeMaKerZ in the evening. Cornhole, hula hooping, giant jenga all day. And, of course a beer mile … if you haven’t participated or watched one of these, you are missing out! Drink a beer, run a quarter mile … repeat 3 more times!
