The beer culture on the First Coast has been growing continually for years with mainstays like Intuition Ale Works, Bold City Brewery, Engine 15 Brewing, and Green Room Brewery now joined with newcomers like Zeta Brewing, Wicked Barley Brewing, and many others, Jax Beer Week is the perfect opportunity to venture out to a new bottle shop, go try that new expansion at Kickbacks, or venture to that brewery that has always seemed like it was a little too far out.  This is the week where these guys and gals pull out all of the stops and put their best and favorite beers forth.

Happy hunting, especially to those at the Green Room Bottle Release today.

Cheers to Jacksonville beers, and a happy and safe celebration to all of those indulging in Jax Beer Week.

Green Room Brewing is celebrating Jax Beer Week with bottle releases

Green Room Brewing of Jacksonville Beach is marking this year’s Jax Beer Week, going on now, with a week’s worth of bottle releases.  The brewery is normally closed on Mondays, so the first bottle release will drop today.

From Green Room Brewing:

The next series of beers are all being released for Jax Beer Week. The first is Yates Manifesto. Yates Manifesto is an imperial stout and will be released on September 20th at 4 PM and will also be available in limited amounts in the bottle. This beer is the base for the series. When it went into effect in 1968 Jacksonville become the largest city, by population, in Florida and the 13th largest in the U.S. All land in Duval County is considered part of Jacksonville except Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, and Baldwin.

Pinglehead Brewing brings Banana Pancakes Ale to Jax Beer Week

In honor of Jax Beer Week, Pinglehead Brewing of Orange Park has brought out a beer from the more creative side: Banana Pancakes Ale.

What is Banana Pancakes Ale?

Banana Pancakes – Brewed with English Malts, Flaked Oats and honey malt, which imparts a bready, medium body and a hint of honey flavor. Using Noble Hops for subtle sweet tempered aromas and fruity flavors. Then a finish with lingering Banana Flavors procured naturally from Hefeweizen Yeast. This easy drinker clocks in right about 11%.
Pinglehead approves this brew for rainy day weather, sleeping in, weekends and not doing what you’re supposed to.

Jax Beer Week is going on now throughout Jacksonville.

Pinglehead Brewing is located at 14 Blanding Boulevard in Orange Park (Jacksonville).
