Cask & Larder pairs traditional beer with Saint Patrick’s Day

Cask & Larder of Winter Park has decided to match this year’s Saint Patrick’s Day with something more traditional than green beer. Rather than adding food coloring to their beer, they have decided to brew a dry stout and release it on the 17th.

From Cask & Larder:

Cask & Larder: Eat and drink like the Irish during our festive happy hour featuring Brandade Fritters and Bangers & Mash.
You won’t find green beer on tap, but we’ve got brewmaster Larry Foor’s Magnus Buchan! The Irish dry stout will be available as a full pint for the day’s festivities.
Time: 4 – 6 p.m.

Cask & Larder debuts Irish Stout today

Press Release:

Fresh after winning medals at last weekend’s Best Florida Beer Competition, Cask & Larder brewers Larry Foor and Garrett Ward will unveil their latest “magically delicious” creation today at 4 p.m.

The Magnus Buchan Dry Stout was brewed in a traditional Irish style and clocks in at 5.5 percent ABV, giving it a little more kick than other well known imports from the Emerald Isle.

The best part though…

Everyone can enjoy the luck of the Irish today, Friday, March 13. The Magnus Buchan Dry Stout will debut for only $3 a pint at happy hour from 4-6 p.m. It will also be available to go in 32-ounce crowlers for $8 each, making it the perfect addition to all of the weekend’s St. Patrick’s Day parties.
