Miami- The working-to-open Miami craft brewery MIA Brewing Company has announced that Michael Demetrus will take over as head brewer and head of operations. MIA Brewing is currently one of several craft breweries in Miami Dade County that is hopping towards opening soon in the Magic City.

About Mike: Mike Demetrus is from Santa Cruz, California and is coming to Miami via Chicago, Illinois. Mike has been brewing beer at Finch’s Beer Company where he has been a brewer, operations manager, and co-owner. Mike is currently working on developing MIA Brewing’s recipes on their shiny, new 20-barrel brewing system.
