NightLife Brewing opens its doors to begin pouring in Miami

Press Release:  NightLife Brewing Company will officially open their doors for soft openings this Friday! The Marlins Park-adjacent brewery will be pouring up brews from other local breweries, as part of their guest-tap series, while their signature formulas continue fermenting to perfection in the brew room – making their debut soon!

Starting on Friday, August 25th, the tap room will be open on selected weekdays from 4 p.m. – 11 p.m. and the schedule for each week can be found on the NightLife Facebook page here, https://www.facebook.com/NightLifeBrewing/, along with more information.

Pair O Dice Brewing expands distribution to South Florida

Pair O’ Dice Brewing Company has partnered with Crafty Connoisseurs Distributing to expand its distribution to four counties in the Southeast corner of Florida. Pair O’ Dice’s award-winning beers are now available in Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe counties.

Pair O’ Dice Brewing Company is distributing their lineup of Core, Seasonal, and limited release Hop Streak Series beers. The initial roll out includes their Clearwater Honey Cream, Hop Bet Red IPA, Little Joe Stout, Shooter Brown, and Monster Roll IPA.

“We’re proud to partner with such a craft-focused, family-owned distributor,” says Pair O’ Dice Brewing Company’s Co-founder and Head Brewer Ken Rosenthal. “I was born and raised in Broward County. Julia and I are excited to be able to offer our Florida-only brand to our family, friends, and fellow Floridians in South Florida.”

Pair O’ Dice Brewing will be kicking off its partnership with Crafty Connoisseurs Distributing the week of November 8th with a “Meet the Brewer Tour” to several retail establishments throughout South Florida. Meet the owner and brewer at any one of the four scheduled stops below.

 Tuesday, November 8th at the World Of Beer – Kendall from 6 – 9 p.m.

 Wednesday, November 9th at The Brass Tap – Boynton Beach from 6 – 9 p.m.

 Thursday, November 10th at The Mack House – Davie from 6 – 9 p.m.

 Friday, November 11th at the Tipsy Boar – Hollywood from 6 – 9 p.m.

Lots going on in the Wynwood area of Miami recently – several breweries garnering attention for beers and releases.  This morning’s update comes from Concrete Beach Brewery about a few beers being released this week and a new canned beer on the horizon.

Sangre de Flor – 8.1%
An Imperial Chocolate Hibiscus Porter with strong notes of chocolate, brown sugar and dark malts that dominate the palate with hints of slightly sweet, floral hibiscus flavor.

Julia – 9.0%
A strong, dry-hopped American barleywine with a floral, piney and stone-fruit aroma that complements the rich, malt-forward flavor of this behemoth. Notes of toffee, dates and apricots are balanced with pleasant hop bitterness.

South Florida in general, Miami in particular, is the site of Florida’s latest craft beer eruption.  Adding to the many craft beer offerings in the Magic City, Bicayne Bay Brewing Company has now opened their taproom so that thirsty Miami drinkers can slake their thirst right from the source.

Brew at the Zoo is taking place this weekend to support Zoo Miami

Press Release: New Times’ Brew at the Zoo, the seventh-annual celebration of suds, returns to Zoo Miami Saturday, May 7, with more beer, more food, and more entertainment than ever before.

Miami’s largest beer festival (and the only one that features guest appearances by zoo creatures), offers unlimited samplings of more than 100 of the best local and international beers.

More than 4,000 beer lovers from across South Florida are expected to attend the festivities, which run from 8 to 11 p.m.

This year, Arrested Development will take the stage to entertain. Since 1991, this two-time Grammy-winning group has given the world hits like “Mr. Wendal,” “Tennessee,” and “People Everyday.”

If you’re hungry, Brew at the Zoo offers great eats to buy, including burgers from Shake Shack and Greek fare from C&R Foods. Classics like lamb gyros, chicken oregano on a pita, Greek feta salad, souvlaki, and chicken, beef, or veggie hot dogs will tame even the hungriest beast.

All Brew at the Zoo attendees will receive a lanyard and a sampling cup for unlimited samplings of more than 100 brews.

General-admission tickets allow entry to the event at 8 p.m. for unlimited beer samplings and the live performance by Arrested Development. GA tickets cost $40 through May 6 (and $50 at the gate).

Brewmaster tickets allow early entry at 7 p.m. and offer access to special Brewmaster-only exclusive craft beer pours from 7 to 8 p.m. Brewmaster tickets cost $70 through May 6 (and $80 at the gate).

VIP tickets give beer lovers the ultimate experience, which includes entry to the event one hour early, at 7 p.m.; access to an exclusive VIP lounge featuring food from Taste Zoo Miami Catering; Munchkins and coffee courtesy of Dunkin Donuts; a special meet-and-greet with creatures from Zoo Miami; full-pour beers from Stella Artois, Hoegaarden, and Leffe; an open bar featuring spirits; and much more. VIP tickets cost $80 through May 6 (and $90 at the gate).

Saint Arnold Brewery expands Ale Wagger Project to South Florida

Saint Arnold Brewing Co., the oldest craft brewery in Texas, today announced the expansion of its Ale Wagger project, which donates a portion of proceeds from the sale of Saint Arnold Ale Wagger to support animal welfare programs. Saint Arnold selected five additional organizations to receive donations and to participate in Ale Wagger-related community outreach activities. The new Ale Wagger partners are:

• Beaumont, Texas: Humane Society – Southeast Texas
• Dallas, Texas: Operation Kindness
• Galveston, Texas: Galveston Island Humane Society
• Fort Worth, Texas: West Side Animal League
• Miami, Florida: Humane Society of Greater Miami

These five organizations join the City of Houston’s BARC and the San Antonio Humane Society in the Saint Arnold Ale Wagger project. Saint Arnold directs its donations to support spay/neutering and community education efforts.

“Animals are near and dear to the hearts of the Saint Arnold community, so we are very proud to expand the Ale Wagger project into additional markets,” said Saint Arnold Founder/Brewer Brock Wagner. “Since the Ale Wagger project was announced last year, Saint Arnold Ale Wagger has become the brewery’s fastest growing brand, which shows the enthusiastic support for combining two things people love – full flavored beer and helping animals.”

To extend upon the success of the Ale Wagger project, Saint Arnold has also introduced pet-related merchandise to its offerings. Dog lovers can now get dog treats made with spent grain, as well as a dog bandana, leash and collar, all featuring the Saint Arnold brand.
