Doral’s Unbranded Brewing announces impending closure

Miami’s craft breweries seem to be experiencing a tumultuous time at present. In addition to the presence of breweries sponsored by major national and international beer companies, J. Wakefield Brewing caused a stir when the team announced that they were moving out of their Wynwood facility. In July 2024, Doral’s Unbranded Brewing Company had previously announced that it would be closing at the end of August and that time is now drawing near.

Short pours of beer news from around Florida

New brewery news and openings around Florida – March 2024

Sometimes news comes quickly and at a furious pace around the Sunshine State. Florida Beer News tries to cover each story, but rarely can the small team get to each opening and event. In this case, the local new outlets provide coverage (occasionally with some back story), so until the team can get to each brewery, a short pour of news is released. In some cases, the news has been released and is just reaching the site, in other cases the news is fresh and newly released.

Wynwood Brewing begins brewing

Miami- Much has been ado at Miami’s newest craft brewery, and this week has proved one of the busiest of weeks for the guys in Wynwood.

On August 14th, Wynwood Brewing received their licensure and began brewing beer. Announcement of three core brands: La Rubia Blonde, Pop’s Porter, and Wynwood IPA soon followed. Shortly after that came photos of men sweating in the Miami heat, toiling and boiling to make beer.

Wynwood has previously announced a window of opening time, but no solid date. If the pictures posted are any indication, it looks like the brewery may be on target for those dates.
