Several launch events are planned on Thursday, June 18, at 8 p.m. and will include a live online toast at 9 p.m. by founder Jeremy Joerger from the brewery’s taproom in Sarasota. The toast will be distributed on social media.

Saint Arnold Brewing now available in Orlando

Press Release:

Brock Wagner, the Founder/Brewer of Saint Arnold Brewing Co., the oldest craft brewery in Texas, will visited with craft beer fans in the Orlando area last week to introduce Saint Arnold’s selection of craft beers. This is the first time Saint Arnold, listed among the 50 largest craft breweries in America by the Brewer’s Association, will be available in Orlando area pubs, restaurants and in stores.

Starting this week, City Beverages will begin distributing Saint Arnold’s most popular brands, including:

• Saint Arnold Fancy Lawnmower Beer – This four-time Great American Beer Festival medal winner is Saint Arnold’s most popular beer. Fancy Lawnmower is a true German-style Kölsch — crisp, yet with a sweet malty body that is balanced by a complex, citrus hop character.

• Saint Arnold Elissa IPA – A medal winner in the Great American Beer Festival’s Extra Special Bitter or Strong Bitter category, Saint Arnold Elissa IPA is named after the tall ship ELISSA, and a portion of proceeds is earmarked for donation to the ship’s preservation.

• Santo – A two-time Great American Beer Festival medal winner, Santo is the newest addition to Saint Arnold’s year-round selection. The original “black Kölsch,” Santo features a distinct dark malt flavor, but is surprisingly light bodied and floral.

“Like many people from around the country and around the world, I have fond memories of visiting Orlando for other reasons in the past. I’m excited to have our beer now available in this destination city,” said Wagner.

“My favorite part of my job is sharing the passion for beer and brewing. I’m looking forward to talking with fellow craft beer lovers about Saint Arnold this week,” Wagner said.

Saint Arnold Brewing is named for a seventh-century bishop of Metz, France. St. Arnold (b. 580 AD, d. 640) was a patron saint of brewers who discouraged the community from drinking impure water, recommending beer instead. The brewery operates out of a 104,000 square foot 3-story brick building originally constructed in 1914. Saint Arnold’s brewhouse was imported from Klosterbrauerei Raitenhaslach, a Bavarian monastery.

In addition to Orlando, Saint Arnold beer is now available throughout Texas and Louisiana, as well as the Gulf Coast of Florida to the Florida Keys. The brewery has won a mantel-full of awards, including 20 medals from the Great American Beer Festival and numerous wins at the World Beer Cup, where judges in 2014 awarded the Bronze Medal to Santo in the American-Style Dark Lager category.

At the Thirsty Dog Brewing Company, each of the beers is meticulously hand crafted in small batches using the finest ingredients. High quality malted barley is the source of the beer’s sweetness and body. Select American and European hops are used to balance the malt sweetness, and at times, to add special flavors and aromas to the beer. Thirty Dog’s carefully-selected ingredients, along with specially designed recipes and brewing processes, give Thirsty Dog beers unique flavor profiles that are hard to find in today’s mass market. A recipient of seven Great American Beer Festival awards, Thirsty Dog was named the 2014 USA Brewery of the Year in the New York International Beer Competition and is representing Ohio at this year’s Savor event in Washington D.C.

Saint Arnold Brewing is coming to South Florida

Saint Arnold Ale Wagger – A beautiful, deep copper brown ale. It has a full, malty body with hints of chocolate, a touch of sweetness and a light hop flavor. A portion of proceeds support local animal welfare initiatives.

Saint Arnold Seasonals – When combined, Saint Arnold’s seasonal selection is the brewery’s top seller. It includes Spring Bock, Summer Pils, Oktoberfest, Christmas Ale and Winter Stout.

About Berghoff Brewery

Berghoff Brewery is owned by Ben Minkoff and family. In June of 2013, Berghoff Brewery re-launched its entire line of beers with reformulated recipes and new labels. Minkoff consulted with brewing experts Randy Mosher and John Hannafan to create the top-notch German-style beers brewed at Berghoff Stevens Point production facility, located in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The first batch of Berghoff beer was brewed in 1887 by Herman Berghoff and his three brothers, Henry, Hubert and Gustav. Demand for their beer grew with astonishing speed, and by 1890, the brothers were producing 90,000 barrels of lager annually. During World War I, the brothers cemented their brewing company’s place in American history, changing their slogan from “a real German brew” to “a real honest brew” in honor of their adopted homeland. In a bold show of American ingenuity, Berghoff produced soft drinks, including a root beer and a malt tonic throughout Prohibition, and was the first to return to production and sale of alcoholic beers when the Volstead Act was repealed, pouring at The Berghoff, the first liquor license to be re-granted in Chicago. For more information about Berghoff, visit www.berghoffbeer.com.

Three Palms inks new distribution deal with J.J. Taylor

Press Release:

J.J. Taylor Distributing of Florida, Inc. is pleased to announce the future distribution partnership with Three Palms Brewing located in East Tampa, near Brandon, Florida. Three Palms beer will initially be available in the five counties surrounding the brewery: Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, Manatee and Sarasota.

Still a relatively young brewery, Three Palms Brewing was one of the first production craft breweries to open in the Tampa Bay area. Established two-and-a-half years ago, Three Palms is the absolute definition of nano-brewery. Their beers are crafted in 145-gallon batches and generally yield little more than 20 kegs, 1/6bbl at a time.

Before taking his hobby and passion into a professional platform, Three Palms Brewery owner Randy Reaver was an avid home brewer. Randy copiously experimented with a variety of traditional and non-traditional beer ingredients alike.

Randy states, “Three Palms Brewing is the expression of thoughts, feelings and experiences from various moments in our life. The beers that we brew and the names associated, are largely based on an eclectic combination of people we have known or met through the years, mixed genres of music from our past, creative imagination and numerous life experiences. Three Palms Brewing appreciates the opportunity and is looking to building a long and healthy partnership with J.J. Taylor.”

“The innovative and flexible spirit that Randy and his beers exude is an exciting edition to the J.J. Taylor FL portfolio.” Says Matt Abdoney, Craft Specialty and Import Brand and Marketing Manager for J.J. Taylor Distributing Florida, Inc. “Nano style brewing is after all, the catalyst and lifeblood of much of craft beer’s research and development. We at J.J. Taylor are indeed looking forward to our future partnership with Three Palms Brewing.”

The Three Palms beer brands that will most prevalently be offered to retail market will be:

Zip Zag Berliner Weisse

An extremely drinkable wheat beer that will make you pucker. A tart, clean, dry and refreshing brew with a light body and lemony finish. 3.5% ABV
