Stone Brewing is sending two new EnjoyBy IPAs to Florida

Stone Brewing’s new motto shows how the brewery is trying to define itself this year: “The Status Quo and Complacency are for Others, Not Us.” In that spirit, Stone is releasing some old favorites and new hits, but the newest releases that will be landing in the near future are EnjoyBy 2.14.16 Unfiltered IPA and EnjoyBy 2.14.16 Black IPA.

What are these beers?

EnjoyBy Unfiltered 2.14.16: In most cases, skipping a step is a bad thing. Not this time. This version of Stone Enjoy By IPA omits the part where we filter out the extra yeast, hop sediment and proteins that build up in beer as a natural result of the brewing process. Though it may sound like it, this missed step was no misstep. By letting this IPA go unfiltered, its peach and tropical fruit hop flavors are amplified while its golden-hued color takes on a hazy appearance. Like its filtered counterpart, this IPA is brewed specifically NOT to last, and is shipped immediately to ensure hopheads get their hands on it as soon as possible.

EnjoyBy 2.14.16 Black IPA: This double IPA’s dark-colored malt canvas comes from German Sinamar and from Patagonia Black Pearl barley, which adds a pleasingly smooth taste. The hop profile is predominantly Australian, featuring down-under wonders Vic Secret, Ella and Galaxy. Stone Enjoy By Black IPA is shipped immediately to ensure hopheads get their hands on it as soon as possible, as it is brewed specifically NOT to last.

Stone’s EnjoyBy 12.25.15 is coming to Florida

Escondido, California’s Stone Brewing has a series of beers that showcases the tastiness of uber-hoppy IPAs when they are sent and enjoyed as fresh as possible. This “EnjoyBy” series has another member, “EnjoyBy 12.25.15” and this mammoth hop beast is coming to the Sunshine State, once it is bottles on November 18th (according to the Enjoy By Website).

Magic Hat launches new year-round IPA into Florida

Magic Hat Brewing Company recently released Electric Peel – a new, year-round grapefruit IPA bursting with bold citrus hop flavors. This new IPA is designed to send shocks of citrus hop flavors through a medium malt body amplified by grapefruit peel. The result is a delightfully hoppy ale with a bittersweet finish, boasting an ABV of 6.0% and 65 IBUs.

“At Magic Hat, our goal is to brew the best tasting beer on the planet. This means experimenting with different variations of hops and flavors,” said Chris Rockwood, Head Brewer, Magic Hat. “When developing Electric Peel, we wanted to enhance the wonderful grapefruit-like aroma and character that some hops already have, so we tried adding grapefruit peel to the boil. The end result is a refreshing grapefruit aroma, balanced by strong hop bitterness underneath.”
